1. Purpose
These terms and conditions define the booking and stay conditions at Château des Bourdons, a guesthouse located in Varennes-Vauzelles. Any reservation implies full and unconditional acceptance of these terms.
2. Reservation
A reservation becomes effective after written confirmation and, where applicable, payment of a deposit or full payment of the stay. The information provided at the time of booking must be accurate and complete.
3. Rates
Rates are indicated in euros, all taxes included, unless otherwise stated. Breakfast is not included in the base rate and is available at an additional cost. Additional options (drinks, sharing boards, etc.) may be booked in advance or on site.
4. Payment terms
Payment for the stay and any selected options must be made according to the terms specified at the time of booking (bank transfer, credit card or cash). Any services consumed on site must be paid before departure.
5. Cancellation and modification
Any cancellation or modification must be notified in writing. Cancellation conditions (fees or refunds) depend on the time between the cancellation date and the arrival date, in accordance with the terms communicated at the time of booking. In the event of a no-show, the full amount of the stay may be charged.
6. Check-in and check-out
- Check-in: from the time communicated at the time of booking
- Check-out: no later than the time indicated on the day of departure
Any late arrival or early departure must be notified in advance.
7. Capacity and occupancy
The reservation is made for a specific number of guests. Any undeclared additional person may result in refusal of access or additional charges.
8. Access to common areas and wellness facilities
The château’s common areas (lounges, breakfast room, relaxation areas) are accessible to all guests. Access to the indoor swimming pool, spa and fitness equipment is available from 8:00 am to 8:30 pm, under the responsibility of the users. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
9. House rules and respect for the property
Château des Bourdons is a quiet property and smoking is not permitted indoors. Guests agree to respect the premises, furniture, equipment and the peace of other guests. Any damage may result in additional charges.
10. Pets
Pets are not allowed, unless prior written approval has been granted by management.
11. Liability
Château des Bourdons declines all responsibility in the event of loss, theft or damage to personal belongings within the property, including common areas and the parking facilities.
12. Parking
A private and secure parking area is provided free of charge. Use of the parking facilities is under the responsibility of the vehicle owner.
13. Personal data
Personal data collected during the booking process is used solely for the management of the stay and is never shared with third parties.
14. Disputes
In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought first. Failing this, the dispute shall be governed by French law and submitted to the competent courts.
