Château des Bourdons is first and foremost a story of passion. Passion for beautiful places, for hospitality, and for creating meaningful moments away from everyday life. When we discovered this 1850 château in Varennes-Vauzelles, we immediately knew it was a place meant to be shared.

We chose to restore and open the château as a guesthouse with a simple ambition: to offer our guests a warm, elegant and relaxing experience, where they feel welcomed like friends rather than customers. We value authenticity, comfort and attention to detail, while preserving the soul and character of this historic home.

We deliberately keep the number of accommodations limited to three guest rooms and one studio, in order to guarantee calm, space and personalized hospitality. The shared areas of the château are designed to encourage relaxation, quiet conversations and moments of connection, whether around the piano, in the lounges or during breakfast.

Well-being is at the heart of the Château des Bourdons experience. The indoor pool, spa and fitness area were created as true spaces of relaxation, accessible throughout the day, so that each guest can enjoy them at their own pace.
